Job Title- Associate Treasury

Reports to – Head of Treasury
Country and Office - KSA, Riyadh Branch

Job Accountability:
• Support the team leader in the smooth operations in managing the trading desk in dealing with foreign exchange and managing ALM on behalf of Riyadh Branch. Co-working with DIFC Dubai treasury desk.

Essential Functions:
• Dealing in foreign exchange and money markets under the delegated authority, in full accordance with the laws, regulations, circulars, internal/external procedures, market code of conduct etc. in consultation with DIFC Dubai treasury.
• Monitoring local currency liquidity by getting information from the delegated authority and other market participants.

Without conflicting on points (1) and (2) above, the following duties will also be required:
• Support marketing and business promotion of market products to clients in KSA.
• Conduct follow-ups with clients as appropriate after-market products are dealt.
• Support Corporate Banking Team through building effective relationships with colleagues by appropriate release of market information.
• Manage other members of the team to ensure that daily ALMs are controlled appropriately and efficiently

Risk Management:
• To minimize Market Risk and all other risks (i.e. Delivery, Liquidity);
• Regular reporting and escalation to Team leader and/or MENA head.
• Involvement and input into the Market Risk Asset and Liability Committee (MALCO).
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the team leader and/or MENA head.

General:
• Educate more junior staff and improve their skills and working capabilities so that improve the total staff standard.
• Support the Head of Riyadh Branch by contributing to establish Riyadh Branch as the best working place.
• Always have the “willing to help” attitude and try to find issues and solve them for the improvement.
