JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The CFO will report to the General Manager of the Company and to the Head of Finance, MESCAT and will closely interact with the Company's shareholders to benefit from their long experience of sizeable and well diversified portfolio, huge pool of resources & expertise in related fields and strong presence in the MENA Region. This plant is located an hour away from the nearest city, so frequent travel to and from the site will be involved.
The CFO will have responsibility for:
* Financial Performance Management
* Finance & Treasury
* Reporting & Compliance
* Tax and Accounting
* Internal Audit & Internal Controls
* Administration
REQUIREMENTS
The client is looking specifically for candidates with financial experience managing power plants, GCC experience is a must and Arabic speaking is a strong preference.
Candidates will possess an MBA or CFA and have a bachelors degree for visa purposes. A minimum of 8 years' experience is required. As this plant operates on a remote site, daily travel will be required for candidates who do not elect to take the on site accommodation provided.
