JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- An experienced certified technician capable of taking vibration measurements for various types of rotating machines to support the troubleshooting of manufacturing facilities in order to maintain stable operation.
- Experienced in analyzing vibration spectra, conducting root cause analysis and developing vibration trends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Collect 'routine and non-routine' vibration data utilizing portable data collector. Analyze the vibration data and other relevant mechanical and process parameters, report changes in vibration profile or equipment condition promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain the asset management data base and generate the required condition monitoring reports.
- Monitor condition of critical and semi-critical equipment using System 1 and provide analysis on trends in a structured manner
- Schedule, plan and execute vibration monitoring activities for equipment throughout the complex ensuring that all tasks are completed as per required standards and deadlines.
- Review vibration analysis results and make recommendations for improvement in the PM program for the respective equipment.
- Keep current, the tracking system for vibration measurement results and findings
- Provide technical advice and support to field MNT and MFT-operation on Reliability related matters.
- Participate in commissioning and start-up of new plant and equipment, record base line data.

REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

- Graduate from Industrial College or High School.
- Level II Vibration certification
- 5 years related experience in 'Vibration and Condition Monitoring' in the Refining and/or Petrochemical industry

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

- Solid verbal and written communication skills with a good command of the English language, both oral and written.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other related 'condition monitoring software'.
- Working knowledge of rotating equipment repair standards and best practices is an asset.
- Familiar with Reliability programs.
