JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Min 3 years’ experience of designing Fiber networks using any GIS based tool
• One to two years’ experience for surveying Passive and Active related sites.
• Fiber & Electrical design rules and design abilities
• Able to use CAD on expert level
• Fiber and Civil materials calculations
• FIBER test tools and equipment
• FIBER standards
• Optimizing FIBER design
• Route selection
• Optimizing BoQ
• Forecasting customer expectations and requirements
• Helping design manager for scoping and costing
• Leading site survey
• Performing QC for survey and design tasks
• Motivate customer for design work for approval.
• Good spoken and interpersonal skills
REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• At least Diploma degree in telecom, IT, Computer science
• Certificates in Fibre Optic Cable and Systems
• Certificates in GIS, CAD, Micro station
• Leadership certificates
• Strong computer skills
• Design tools like ESRI Arc GIS, Automatic Work Flow tools, AutoCAD, Micro station
• Site survey tools
