JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Onboarding Account Manager to help launch new marketplace sellers on Souq.com.
OBAM roles involves around supporting our business development team in ensuring sellers with their items to sell are listed effectively on souq platform.

Job Role:
· You will be required to work as a liaison between our Business development team and the internal Content team to ensure all requirements are met to guarantee the smooth launch of seller on the platform
· You will be required to cross check selection/listings of the marketplace seller brought on by the business development team is converted/merged into a format meeting all requirements of content standards are met.
· You will also be required to improve the overall quality of selection submitted to ensure better quality listings go live on Souq platform resulting in better sales.
· Candidate must ensure that the selection provided goes live on Souq platform on time and all stakeholders are well informed on the progress of their request.

Responsibilities:
· Liaise with Business Development/Sales Team to ensure all requirements important for seller onboarding are met
· Quality check all incoming selection of the seller assigned is meeting souq standards for listing
· Coordinate with internal content/production team for timely upload of all selection/listings of the seller
· Update Business development team with progress and pain points related to their seller selection/listings
· Vetting/Inspecting seller authorization documents important for selling on Souq
· Train and educate sellers on souq dashboard and answer seller inquiries related to their submitted selection
· Update all updates on CRM ensuring all parties are well informed
· Come up with strategies related to task assigned and identify areas of improvement
· Abilities to convey solutions by utilizing your deep knowledge of Souq systems, operations, standards and guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience as Account Manager/Executive/Coordinator
· Well versed with Online research and data mining using minimal information
· Willingness to keep well-informed of new techniques and process improvement
· Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint & Excel)
· Proficient in CRM use such as Sales Force, High-rise or any similar
· Good communication skills (Arabic & English)
· Critical thinking and decision making
· BSc/BA in business, marketing or relevant field
· Ability to communicate with and influence peers and leaders
· Skilled collaborating as part of a team and working independently to deliver results.
· Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
· Experience using learning development and evaluation methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· BSc/BA in business, marketing or relevant field
· Proven experience as Account Manager/Executive/Coordinator
· Well versed with Online research and data mining using minimal information
· Native Arabic Speaker with good communication skills (Arabic & English)
