JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a philanthropic organisation based in Riyadh requires an Operations Manager to join on a permanent residential basis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The operation is the high profile and high visibility program in order to create a platform to structure and consolidate the organisations charitable efforts under one umbrella and launch new initiatives. This platform will aim at assessing the needs in society and create initiatives that provide financial support to segments in need in Saudi society through convenient mechanisms.

The Operations Manager of the program is accountable for the success of the program from an operations perspective by effectively planning operational activities and performing them in line with the program’s objectives and within the guidelines, timeline, and budgetary constraints. The scope of operations includes: managing in-sourced and out-sourced activities mainly around processing applications for the various initiatives that the Program runs to achieve targets such as targeted number of beneficiaries and funds disbursements.

REQUIREMENTS

Suitable candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field from a reputable university with 5-7 years of relevant experience in operations for highly visible projects, at least 5 of which should be in a management role in a services oriented government organisation or private sector. You should have experience supporting similar organizations through the start-up phase, delivering results under pressure and tight deadlines.

The key competences for success in this role include strategic thinking, service operations, project management, risk understanding & mitigation, understanding of Saudi context, analytical skills, stakeholder management, emotional intelligence, empathy and Arabic language skills.
