JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Description
- Act as business owner for the commercial function (Retail and Marketplace), having a complete understanding of the internal and external variables affecting the business (category forecasting, monitoring, reporting along with responsibility for driving initiatives to achieve business objectives)
- Be the coordinator between cross-functional teams and the categories including but not limited to Marketing, Operations and Finance
- Increase category profitability and selection opportunities
- Lead relationships for key vendors & brands - approve and manage supplier contracts, day to day relationships, secure marketing funds
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the KSA market, including seasonality, events, and continually monitor online and offline competition developments
- Create business cases and plans for new category launches taking into account pricing and merchandising strategy
- Analyze data including sales, attainment, returns, attachment rates to identify trends and gaps.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or Management (MBA Preferred)
- Experience in hiring and managing team
- Ability to take quick but informed decisions in a high-energy, high pressure environment

- Influencing and communication abilities (internal and external)
- Analytical and data driven, willingness to go into details
