JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

A leading Construction Engineering Company in KSA is looking for a qualified and experienced QA/QC MANAGER to join their team in Riyadh, KSA. The key focus of this role is managing and monitoring all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities during the execution of company construction projects, insuring all stages of work are performed according to client’s requirements, company standards, and international standards.

• Develops the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function’s strategic goals, business plans, budgets and resources in coordination with the Director of QA/QC/HSE & Post Construction Review.
• Develops adequate policies and processes for the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function to maintain efficient operational excellence.
• Communicates the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function’s guidelines and processes to employees and ensures clear understanding of these guidelines.
• Works towards achieving Quality Assurance & Quality Control function’s strategic goals and reports progress to executive management.
• Ensures operational quality standards are maintained as outlined in the design specifications, plans, and other standard engineering documents.
• Evaluates the status of the sites as measured against the set objectives and determines causes of non-conforming quality deficiencies with the necessary corrective action needed to avoid re-occurrence.
• Manages the distribution of all company quality documentation and ensures the implementation of company quality assurance (QA) standards and controls.
• Ensures quality related project / site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
• Ensures open communication channels are maintained with subcontractors, consultants, and site management, to ensure ongoing quality control.
• Ensures all aspects of QA/QC policies and processes are implemented, and ascertains that all project related work carried out by company and subcontractors complies fully with the agreed-upon QA\QC plan
• Ensures inspections are conducted on all incoming equipment and selected bulk materials, fabrications and work activities, as applicable, in coordination with concerned departments and projects.
• Monitors all quality related activities on projects and performs all internal and external operational audits on behalf of company management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of construction project Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Engineering).
• Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, deficiencies, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.
• Experience in developing and monitoring of project QA/QC budgets.
