JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Purpose: To supervise regional accountants / credit team by implementing the agreed policy and process to achieve the targeted collection objectives in line with the business objectives and in accordance with the company objectives, strategies and plans.
• Assist the Credit Manager to control and minimize risk of bad debts.
• Ensure the receivable and order entry ledgers for collections, orders, statement of accounts and reconciliation are available for validation and authorization by the agreed closing date of each month.
• Ensure submission of regional expenses and ensure accuracy and completeness of coding and description.
• Follow-up on overdue collection to ensure that agreed collection targets and objectives are met and propose a corrective action.
• Ensure daily banking of all collections made by the salesman and other customer transfers.
• Conduct customer account reconciliation and ensure customer confirmation.
• Visit customers and build strong relationship.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors degree in related subject
• Saudi National Essential
• FMCG background preferred
• 2-4 years Accountancy experience + Credit Control experience preferably at a Regional level
• Fluent in Arabic & English
• Excellent communication skills
• Management experience preferred
