JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Based in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will be working for a fully integrated global petroleum and chemicals enterprise and a world leader in Exploration, Production and Refining.
You will be responsible for setting up the complete required VAT reporting for the company in a timely manner. VAT is yet to be established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, making this a unique opportunity to set up a system from first principles. You must have a proven track record in providing robust advice relating to VAT, along with a thorough understanding of the impact of the laws and VAT liabilities. You will have an internal stakeholder audience who will need to be educated, and you will be the main liaison point with regulators.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be qualified CPA, CA or ACA, with a minimum of 12 years relevant experience in VAT specifically. Experience with Energy operators with regards to VAT would be a significant advantage.
