TRT Arabi believes in reaching our audiences on their preferred platforms through innovative formats that make us relatable to our community. Be it Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or our website or mobile apps, we’re looking for a candidate who understands the importance of creating unique experiences exclusively for each platform.
The Role
The Senior Strategist will work with a small team and across multiple teams to develop Shows on digital platforms. The Shows will be weekly or daily and each will have its own format and unique focus. He/She will be responsible for developing the concepts, style, tone and implementation of the Shows that will exist
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a variety of Shows for digital platforms and audiences
• Cater each Show based on the platform and the desired target audience
• Manage a small team that will be responsible for the production of these Shows
• Develop and manage the output of these Shows
• Continuous experimentation of new ideas, concepts and techniques to ensure that the Shows are fresh and unique
• Develop native digital content for digital audiences, but also leverage existing linear TV shows and develop native digital content with them
• Aim to develop a specific audience around each Show based on its topic, content, tone and style
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
• University degree in journalism, digital communication or a related field or suitable experience
• Three years’ experience in digital media and content production
• Sound editorial judgment of global issues
• A solid commitment to the TRT Arabi’s spirit of journalism
• Understanding of the social media landscape, experienced in analysing social media trends
• Impeccable Arabic writing and editing skills
• Fluency in English highly advantageous.
• Understanding audience engagement tactics and tools
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere will be an advantage
