JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are currently hiring for an AVP, Financial Controller position at an international investments company based in Bahrain. This individual will need to have relevant work experience of at least 4 years at a BIG4 firm or a reputable financial institution.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the accounts of the company and its subsidiaries
• Focus on accounting for the business activities in private equity, real estate investments, absolute return investments, alternative credit, treasury products, derivatives and balance sheet hedging.
• Leverage strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS to analyze, account and report to senior management

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience at a BIG4 or a reputable financial institution
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
