JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Accountant is mainly responsible for monitoring the inventory and assisting the Finance & Admin Manager during month end and in the implementation of new projects and process improvements. This post reports directly to the Finance & Admin Manager.

Specific Duties

• Regularly generate and analyze Inventory Reports
• Monitor inventory and reconcile against the balance in the system
• Investigate any discrepancy found and resolve any issue that may arise
• Maintain a close liaison and good rapport between customers and vendors
• Prepare Inventory Analysis and other related reports at month end
• Prepare Inventory reports for distribution to various customers/suppliers
• Assist in the finalization of reports at month end.
• Support the company’s strategic goals, process improvements and other projects
• Other tasks that maybe be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

Person Specification And Competencies

• Must be an Accounting graduate, CPA is an advantage
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience specifically in handling inventory
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform multi-tasking and ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Has a healthy sense of urgency and work ethic;
• Proactive, Problem Solver, Highly flexible and result-oriented

• Proficient in MS Office particularly in Excel
• Accounts Reconciliation
• Financial Analysis
• Audit
