JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Accounting
• Maintain accounting records by making journal entries for company transactions
• Record accruals, prepayments, receivables and payables to reflect true financial position of the company
• Tag fixed assets for tracking and keep Fixed Assets Register up-to-date
• Process suppliers’ payments on time and ensure complete documentation
• Track company’s cash position and prepare bank reconciliations
• Act as controller for all expenses and ensure compliance to company policies and best practices
• Communicate and visit the bank relationship manager for all bank related activities including the bank payments, fund transfers, change of signatories, etc.

Admin
• Buy and maintain office supplies
• Prepare expense reimbursement reports for the employees
• Work with HR manager to ensure timely renewal of medical and life insurances
• Act as a replacement for Office Manager when he/she is on leaves

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of accounting with at least 2 years of experience working in an accounting role
• Sound understanding of bank processes and policies
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and prepare reports and analysis in Excel
• Good communication skills and confidence to communicate with Senior Management
