JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Western educated law graduate, candidates whom have been exposed to internships, or those with 1-2 years in a junior role within a law setting. You will be based at the Dubai office and the role of the Case Progression Officer provides strong career growth and progression prospects for the right candidate. Our client is well established with a fantastic reputation in ensuring the highest international standards and integrity of legal practice are maintained at all times. You will be joining a large and well integrated team and reporting to the Legal Manager.

The role involves the successful incumbent to be the first point of contact for all queries from those at the initial stages of their case to clients finalising any judgments. You will ensure that all documents are requested, updated and filed appropriately and all information, including the opening of new cases, are to be entered onto the case management system.

There are strict internal timescales and KPIs involved with all clients and it is the responsibility of the Case Progression Officer to monitor these deadlines effectively to ensure all are adhered to and reportings to the Senior Management are completed on a regular basis. The role will also ensure that you coordinate with all parties involved including senior lawyers and law firm partners.

REQUIREMENTS

It is essential that candidates applying for this role have a law degree or LLB from a Western institution and have English as their native language. Law graduates with minimal experience in the law industry will also be considered, as those with a very strong administrative skill set and a customer service approach will be a great addition for this fantastic role. You also will have a professional manner and appearance and be able to work well under pressure in a demanding and exciting environment.
