As Content Digital Assistant Manager, you will ensure that content is aligned with audience interest. Using a wide array of website analytic tools, the content manager will produce meaningful, actionable narratives and also formulate specific techniques to deploy throughout the organization to capture audience interest, such as recommending approaches to certain topical coverage or formats for posts and may be called upon to help execute those techniques.

• You will ensure clear, timely communication is an essential part of this role and the content data manager will continuously provide feedback to others within the organization based on findings in the website and audience data.
• In addition to understanding and translating data, it is vital that the content manager also has a firm grasp of online media, the news industry and trends related to those industries.
• Manage digital content strategy - creating and/or curating content to inspire target users, promote content, align with events and products and Create and implement online content
• Partner with product and content leads to incorporate product copy, video, and photo to maximize on-site search functionality
• Work schedules and/or location may change based on evolving business needs.
• Leverage web analytic tools and other means to monitor audience trends across all platforms.
• Continuously analyze data to ensure content is aligned with audience interest.
• Develop reports for tracking audience engagement and effectively share results.
• Innovate new ways to reach audience based on data.
• Develop and implement specific content tactics aimed at increasing audience engagement, share them throughout the organization and track their effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you should have;

• Minimum of 2 years of journalism experience
• Strong analytical skills, guest services skills, campaign management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications or related field required.
• Mastery of web analytics and audience metrics tools.
• Content Management tools –Sitecore, good to know Wordpress, Drupal
• Experience with using social media to source and promote content a plus.
• Basic HTML or equivalent web language a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic but not essential
