Credit Controller - Dubai

The Company

A market leading Insurer based in the DIFC are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

The Role

* Manage the credit control function by making regular calls to clients, communicating with third party collectors and reviewing credit-worthiness
* Keep management informed of issues regarding collection, credit-worthiness, legal action or on-stop threats, monitoring and escalating issues as appropriate
* Run the monthly invoicing processes to meet client deadlines, meeting specific client requirements e.g. creation of bespoke invoices and summaries
* Download and maintain the monthly Aged Debtor List (ADL), identifying risks and providing a regular review to Managers
* Provide a consistently good level of service to clients by resolving Sales Ledger queries and supporting the Client Relations team. Keep the Sales Ledger up-to-date and accurate, reporting errors and making corrections as appropriate
* Encourage new and existing Clients to pay by direct debit and assist the Sales Ledger Administrator with compiling the monthly Direct Debits for submission
* Other ad hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

The Candidate

* The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a similar role, possess strong attention to detail with strong communication skills.
* Previous Insurance experience is ESSENTIAL.
