JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Solution Architect to join a leading Abu Dhabi bank and play a vital part in their digital venture as they look to execute their digital strategy and transform the business.
The successful candidate will come from a Banking/Financial Services background and play a critical role in the assessment and delivery of digital capabilities within the bank. You will be a key member of the team providing thought leadership and advice on the modernization of underlying IT systems to effectively support the bank’s Digital Transformation Strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Understand the priorities of the Business for Digital Transformation and expectations from IT to support them
• Support the Enterprise Architecture function to collect, agree and document digital business capabilities as part of the overall capabilities map
• Contribute, review and update the Enterprise Architecture repository at Business, Data and Application levels for Digital capabilities and transformation projects
• Create high-level design for initiatives and provide technical leadership
• Ensure proposed solutions are in line with the bank’s long-term roadmap and IT strategy
• Conduct and articulate impact analysis of Digital Transformation initiatives on business and IT
• Review all design documents delivered by project teams as part of project execution and ensure adherence to architecture proposed in HLD
REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive experience working within highly complex banking or financial services
• Professional software development experience
• Working knowledge of SOA design patterns that utilize integration techniques across middleware and application boundaries
• EA Consulting experience
• Previous work experience in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise Application Development & Integration, BPM, SOA, Advanced Data Analytics, BPM
• Experience working with server-side technologies and major application servers
• Working experience with different architecture frameworks eg. TOGAF, BIAN, OAGiS
• Professional certifications eg. TOGAF
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
