JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client a leading local MEP engineering consultancy require a Director of MEP Engineering Design to manage a team of between 30 and 40 engineers and technicians in their thriving Dubai office.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Design management of MEP building services projects
- Developing & winning new business
- Preparing bids and fee proposals
- Project management, financial management & contract administration
- Mentoring and managing engineers
- Acting as key contact for clients
- Maintain a healthy and happy work environment
REQUIREMENTS
To apply for the role you should meet most of the following criteria:
- B.Eng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Similar
- Minimum 15 - 20 years’ relevant consultancy based buildings experience
- Have a good technical knowledge of all aspects of MEP Engineering Design
- Proven leader / manager
- Have experience of working in and managing a multicultural team
- Previous experience of working in the middle east or on middle east projects essential
- Be very client facing with excellent written and verbal communications skills
