JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Ensure materials are delivered to the aircraft against demands raised by the Line Engineers & planning within the shortest possible time. Transport commercial items between stores, operate heavy equipment, meet AOG & priority requirements. Involves internal and external driving.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

- Maintain the vehicles in order to avoid frequent break downs and avoid repair cost.
- Ability to manage multiple material deliveries for AOG and other requirements.
- Maintain the vehicles in order to avoid frequent break downs and avoid repair cost.
- Maintain proper records for every vehicle including the trip sheets.
- Coordinate, communicate and assist stores and end users on regular basis.
- Prepare Handover log for the vehicles.
- Prepare daily incident report for the vehicle.
- Ability to understanding, prepare and comply with the rules set by the management.
- Check the serviceability of GSE equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualification

- Educated to higher level Schooling or equivalent.
- Should be familiar with GCAA, JAA / FAA airworthiness regulations

Experience

- Minimum 5 years practical experience in driving and operating heavy equipment.

Knowledge / Skills

- Ability to do minor repairs to vehicles & Operate heavy equipment
- Use of IT systems (MS Suite as well as specific MRO systems)

Certificate / License Required

- Must hold a valid UAE driving license

Additional Requirements

- Excellent understanding of written and spoken English, Arabic will be an added advantage
