JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
Works with Air Arabia IT, ERP vendors and the business stakeholders to customize, configure, maintain, and enhance the ERP application; and ensures that the ERP solution is supported by the appropriate infrastructure, interfaces, and technical components. Gathers business requirements, proposes solutions, designs, develops, and supports the ERP application and serves as a hands-on ERP analyst and developer.

Key Accountabilities
• Acts as the focal point and business ERP systems partner for all business stakeholders. Interacts with the user community to gather and document business requirements conducts necessary analysis on existing business processes, recommends process changes and workflows based on best industry practices and creates a clear map of business processes – functions - user roles.
• Supports the current and future development and enhancement of ERP systems to meet the Company’s requirements in terms of automation of processes.
• Carries out market analysis of ERP solutions and stays up-to-date with the latest trends in ERP software and vendors in the region and beyond. Acts as the ERP business and system expert for the organization to provide the necessary guidance to teams on ways to optimize utilization of ERP systems.
• Creates technical specifications and detailed software conceptual design documentation based on requirements. Ensures proper design, upgrade, maintenance, backup, and continuous development of the applications.
• Coordinates with IT and Line Managers to manage systems trial phases and; highlights hazards and irregularities to the vendors for adjustments and rectification. Partners with IT to manage data migration and automated backup.
• Monitors and validates solutions assuring the quality and stability of deliverables and the compatibility with business rules and standards. Works with users and IT team on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software. Identifies the causes, designs or develops an approach for resolution, and implements the correction/customizes the software to meet user-specific needs.
• Arranges for necessary user training and demonstration by ERP vendors on systems usage; acts as a subject matter expert through providing post-implementation support in terms of ERP and HR systems.
• Manages ERP related documents, manuals, instructions and further communication to be available for the staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Skills and Related Work Experience
• Bachelor degree in MIS/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Training or certificates in HR systems such as ERP, Oracle, SAP, Core HRMS, SSHR is a must.
• Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is a must.
• Training certificates such as “Train the Trainer” are highly desirable for the role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Advanced Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, Visio, Internet & Web Search.
• Very Good written and verbal communication skills, presentations, etc.
• Very good English Language.
• 7+ years of related working experience in ERP Systems in any industry, preferably in Airlines with a minimum of 5 years in implementation and support of HR Applications; developing specifications for business requirements and providing user support,.
• Domain Knowledge of Airline HR processes is considered an advantage.
