JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

HR Business Partner – Performance Management (1 year contract)

Responsible for ensuring that critical HR interests are supported professionally and in accordance with the local labour laws and company policies. With major focus on Performance Management, this role will also be responsible for providing responsive and pro-active support and advice to line managers on broader HR issues and complex individual cases, ensuring effective employee relations through professional compliance with policies and procedures. The purpose of this role is also to establish a performance driven culture and implement a program to support and drive that culture along with results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Activities:

- Support line managers and staff on HR related issues such as: company policy, employee resourcing, induction, staff development / performance issues, disciplinary procedures, probationary periods, staff grievances, counselling, organization structure reviews, job and manpower changes, policy roll-out, career planning & promotion, exit interviews, redundancies, death in service etc.
- Support the HR Manager in ensuring that policies and procedures are appropriate for the business and consistently applied across the organization.
- Maintenance of the employment regulation manual and policies
- Where necessary, support communications with external authorities and agencies like police, immigration, labor, recruitment agencies, insurance providers, attorneys etc and work to improve service levels and the satisfactory conclusion of issues.
- Carry out evaluation for all existing and new jobs in line with the company policy, ensuring that the Job Descriptions for all positions are updated with any changes/developments on a real time basis.
- In consultation with line managers and HR Manager, develop a structured career path and succession planning process for employees across the business.
- Develop, implement and manage an effective employee performance management system ensuring its integration with other reward and recognition systems leads to the development of a high performance culture.
- Conduct investigations and manage the disciplinary process as required, ensuring a satisfactory conclusion for the business in all cases.
- Support all HR administration such as; employee payroll & benefits; salary revisions, promotions and offers to new hires; employee feedback mechanisms; staff events; maintenance of employee information, records and files and timely, accurate and effective reporting to senior management on HR related issues.
- Establish a performance management program and release it across the organization. Understand and align our Performance Management program with Crew
- Provide guidance and training to employees on the Performance Management cycle
- Establish the organizations' goals and ensure they are cascaded downwards by working with all the individual department
- Ensure that year end ratings are provided to Compensation & Benefits for the annual merit considerations
- Work with Learning & Development in establishing developmental plans
- Communicate and promote our competencies across the organization
- Establish a mentor program and provide coaching to leadership
- Provide quarterly reports to each LM on the attainment of goals, PIP, probationary periods or developmental plans


REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualification:

- Essential - University degree in HR or a Post graduate diploma in HR management

Experience:

- A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a HR generalist role within a fast paced and dynamic service oriented environment of rapid change.
- Experience of working in performance management

Knowledge / Skills:

- Strong client focus with the ability to build good relationships, influence and network
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
- Good project management skills

Certificate / License Required:

- HR designation - CIPD qualified, SHRP, CHRL

Additional Requirements:

- Demonstrable experience of the design and implementation of Performance Management
