JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

A new opportunity has come up with a large pharmaceutical company based in the UAE. Our client is urgently looking for a HR Specialist who will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely to support Senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following HR functional areas: employee relations, induction training, Leave management, Talent management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment and employment law compliance. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Schedule and conduct new employee orientations.
• Structure the induction training, identify the key induction program content, customize, design and conduct induction training as per function.
• Provide counseling and advice to all employees in line with company and HR policies and procedures.
• Provide HR support throughout development of HR policies & procedures and ensure full compliance.
• Conduct annual manpower planning, create monthly tracking report for HR budget and share with management.
• Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
• Leave management and record keeping.
• Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports with useful HR metrics
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Prepare when advised any letters & documentation such as transfer letters, disciplinary warning letters, salary adjustments etc. to ensure effective communication with the employee & other stakeholders.
• Where appropriate, handle staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide guidance to managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with HR policies and procedures
• Conduct exit interview to undertake suitable measures to aid retention and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
• Advise management on organizing, preparing, or implementing recruiting or retention programs
• Support management in effective implementation of corporate talent management strategy across the organization.
• Support management in launching succession planning.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent related experience.
• CIPD or SHRM qualification or any relevant studies is a must.
• Regional experience is a must.
• Pharmaceutical / Multinational experience is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR field with proven track record of accomplishments.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Exceptional relationship building / HR partnering skills
• A proven ability at driving broad HR projects and programs
• Solid understanding of key HR processes and activities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally address confidential matters
• Very good communication skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and respond effectively to changing priorities and demands
