IT Business Analyst - MUST HAVE AGILE EXPERIENCE

The global leader in services is looking to hire an experienced business analyst to lead the IT aspects of complex projects. The chosen candidate will join the Regional IT department based in Dubai, UAE on a 12 month contract.

Description

Responsibilities:

* Ability to describe complex problems in simple terms.
* Assist the product manager in defining the product goals and feature requirements.
* Collect, understand, own and communicate the requirements for products, projects, and features, translating these into user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Facilitate workshops including the delivery and product teams to expose stories, and identify acceptance criteria to identify a minimum viable product.
* Gather, analyse, and report on usage data to benchmark and measure the performance of the product against defined KPIs.
* Manage product improvement, and work with delivery teams to prioritise active and upcoming projects.
* Communicate concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within organisations, including oral and written presentations, proposals, and reports.
* Working within multi-disciplinary teams delivering software projects within a variety of methodologies (particularly Agile).

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills and Experience:

* Minimum 8 years experience in business analysis, preferably within IT or Tech
* Strong technical skills with certification in SAFe/Agile is preferred. PMP/Prince 2, UML Modelling tools an advantage.
* Significant business analysis experience including designing and running workshops.
* Strong understanding and experience of business analysis skills, techniques, and practices including writing user stories, acceptance tests, and documenting technical requirements.
* Must be an independent thinker, able to work autonomously on projects with complexity, relating to both technical and on business implications.
* Capacity to influence clients (internal and external), maintaining the right balance of assertiveness and positive business relationships.
