JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The IT Software Developer develops and programs applications for the company that allows employees to fulfill their tasks in a more efficient manner and increase the company’s overall productivity. The IT Software Developer analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze users’ needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs
• Write programs in a variety of computer languages
• Update and expand existing programs
• Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing
• Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Preparation of training manuals for users
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
• IT Graduate with B.Sc Degree in Information Technology.
• +3 Years of relevant work experience.
Job Skills:
• Proficiency in using one or more programming language (.Net Framework, C++, PHP, HTML, etc)
• Expertise in computer hardware and software
• Understanding of project management.
Soft Skills:
• Communication Skills – able to convey ideas and messages fluently
• Interpersonal Skills – should be able to work well and coordinatewith others
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills – able to determine business needs and troubleshoot problems that may occur during the development process
• Detail Oriented – able to pay careful attention to multiple parts of the system or apps being worked on
• Creativity – to come up with novel ideas for new apps and systems
