JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Are you eager to carry out studies, research and analyse the industrial sector of the United Arab Emirates? Then you might be the right candidate we are looking for!

On behalf of our client, a government entity in Dubai – UAE, we are looking for an Industrial Development Consultant to strengthen their team. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Export Market Development.

Main responsibilities will include:
• Developing partnerships with regional and international trade promotion companies
• Identifying export target markets, products and services
• Drafting export strategies, KPI’s and business plan
• Liaising with government, agencies, authorities, ministries, private sector
• Initiating and implementing projects and programs to boost and diversify exports

REQUIREMENTS

Your background:
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience within industrial development, research, economic and strategic analysis
• Degree from a recognized university, either Economy, Engineering, Business
• Excellent communication skills, interfacing with government and presenting strategies, KPI’s and targets
• Strong planning and organizing skills, analytical thinking and result driven
• Arabic language is an advantage but not a must
