JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Due to an internal promotion a well-established trading organisation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The organisation is involved in the distribution of extremely well known luxury brands within cosmetics, perfumes and skin care. Based in Dubai, they have approximately 25 staff members and an extremely knowledgeable CEO, whom has been in the industry for some 20+ years.

You will join an experienced logistics team of 3 and report to the Senior Logistics person on a daily basis. As products are imported on a global scale you will ensure the timely arrival of all goods and track the full process from initial order through to delivery with the client. Therefore, a strong exposure to a similar logistics role is essential. You will handle all bill of lading, quantity, letters of credit and final inventory checks, tracking progress along the way and handling both suppliers and customers directly to resolve queries, ensuring all information is updated on the ERP. This role will involve a large volume of administration and handling client requirements, so an excellent standard of the English language in both spoken and written form is required. The Logistics Coordinator role is extremely busy and you will be required to work as part of a tight knit team and ensure you are on hand to assist others at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to apply for this vacancy you must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar retail, luxury of FMCG environment. You will be confident in handling clients, suppliers and 3rd parties alongside all relevant legal and logistical documents. Personality is also key to this role so those with a strong work ethic, determination and a team ethic should apply.
