JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Alpha Flight Group Limited is a leading provider of innovative catering and retail services at several international airports. Alpha Flight Services UAE LLC is a dynamic food service company employing 500 employees, operating both business to business services as well as a wide range of generic branded consumer food and beverage outlets. This company is based at Sharjah International Airport.

We currently have an exciting opportunity that has become available for an experienced and qualified Maintenance Officer to join our successful business.

Responsibilities:
• Assign daily tasks and monitor activities of technicians/subcontractors.
• Daily briefing team on maintenance & safety.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and effectively communicate to team on safety.
• Troubleshoot & repair kitchen equipment’s/Chillers/ Freezers and provide training to technicians, if required.
• Track inventory of spares and raise purchase request, if required
• Daily monitoring of reactive/PPM tasks in CAFM system and assign them to technicians based on priority.
• Supervise suppliers/subcontractors’ activities as per agreed scope and their compliance on safety.
• Report to manager on daily basis for any issues related to maintenance/spare parts requirements etc.
• Assign weekend tasks to technicians and check job completion on the next working day
• Coordinate with Airport maintenance team for any maintenance works in F & B outlets related to airport scope of work.
• Coordinate with airport for work permit related to maintenance.
• Support for asset movements within Alpha and transfer of scrap assets to airport scrap yard.
• Provide maintenance support to housekeeping/laundry team.

REQUIREMENTS

• ITI or Diploma in Engineering
• 5 years of experience in a related supervisory role
• Experience in maintenance of kitchen equipment’s in a catering company
• Must have experience in supervising a team of technicians of different nationalities
• CAFM experience/computer literacy is highly recommended.
