JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Position Objective:
• Assist in driving therapy adoption Manage participation in congresses and events based on the annual marketing calendar and the procedural internal processes for events’ management
• Assist in driving the implementation of clinical marketing activities in compliance to the sponsorship policy
• Ensure profitability of the event via effective project management, monitoring events’ budgets and monthly reporting

Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective marketing of events
• Monitor performance of clinical marketing activities and campaigns and suggest amendments or new ideas where necessary
• Market research to generate and provide marketing copy for all promotional literature including the conference programme, website homepage and all electronic promotional campaigns

Project Management
• Ensure profitability of events, monitoring event budgets, documenting overall costs and plotting vs. total budget while benchmarking with previous year(s)
• Onsite conference management: Ensure the smooth running of the event and liaise effectively with sponsors, speakers and delegates
• Develop contacts and maintain industry relationships to improve the event in the future
• Complete post-conference reports and analysis
• Generate new topic ideas for future events and develop ideas for highly profitable add-on days

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience of working in a deadline driven environment
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to work as part of a highly dynamic team
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to create state of the art business presentations (contents and forms); potentially shared with senior management
• Must possess excellent organizational skills; ability and flexibility to handle new tasks and shifting deadlines; and effective multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple issues and projects in a fast paced environment
• Ability to see projects through from start to finish managing time, tasks and other colleagues involvement
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills
