JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading oil & gas offshore company, they are seeking to recruit material professional to head their receiving team in their Jebel Ali operation.
• This is supervisory role meant to be for high-caliber professional who will be fully responsible for Receipt of Goods, for all received and dispatched goods from source to the actual operation.
• The job-holder should have the ability to receive, inspect and audit all materials related to their offshore as well as production operation, that include QC, scheduling, planning, conducting internal as well as external audit.
• Managing the entire receiving cycle, performance bench-marking and developing quality plan are a must for this role. In addition, a full-cycle of coordination with all involved parties are an essential to this role, these parties can be workshop staff, inventory team, wells operation staff etc.
• Reporting to warehouse superintendent, the job holder shall manage around 12 staff out of which 3 are reporting directly to him.
• In addition, the job-holder needs to communicate directly with various entities / third-parties such as Technical Authorities, projects’ engineer, offshore team, operation team, workshop team etc.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this role, should have a well-recognized technical degree and has:
• At least ten years working experience within oil & gas industry in the domain of QC and material receiving / acceptance
• Has at lead 5 years at supervisory role in the same
• Possess a full understanding and knowledge about Performance Management implementations / process.
• Possess the knowledge about materials used in oil & gas industry, in particular for offshores, workshops, wells etc.
• Possess the ability to develop Quality Plans.
• Possess the ability to schedule the flow of materials as needed.
• Possess the ability to conduct internal as well external audit for the required materials and ensure its compliance with pre-set specifications / standards.
• Possess high-level of computer literacy such as Oracle system or similar.
• Possess strong knowledge of Materials used in: Well Operations, Productions and Maintenance for onshore and offshore oil & gas operations.
• Possess hands-on working experience and knowledge in oil & gas Standards and Specifications such as (API, ASTM, ASME, etc.)
• Able to work and pressure and possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English
• Possess excellent analytical & statistical skills.
