The Public Relations Support Manager is responsible for the implementation of Consumer and Trade PR campaigns, and for managing all media activity for the brand and the Farah Experiences trade team. Working closely with key stakeholders (internal, external and agencies) to ensure messaging and content is aligned to brands, business requirements, and target markets. The Public Relations Support Manager also makes sure that social media is embedded into communication plans.

• With the Farah Corporate and Consumer PR Director and Farah Experiences Marketing Director, devise a PR plan that ensures optimum publicity for Destination Yas Island, in alignment with the marketing and communication strategies and plans of the various assets on the Island
• Provide Trade PR support to the Farah Experiences trade team including PR plans for local, regional and international trade shows and joint PR activities with partners
• Manage PR agencies in source markets
• Report on PR plans and activities, and measure outcome against set strategy and KPIs
• Ensure continuous flow of stories and content for Destination Yas Island.
• Maintain an up-to-date PR Library including all literature, images and videos for Yas Island and its assets
• Manage media visits and filming projects, including liaison with asset teams and onsite management, in line with the company policies and guidelines
• Ensure all relevant spokespeople are fully briefed before any press engagement
• Manage local and international PR agencies
• Collaborate with peers across Yas Island and Abu Dhabi attractions on joint PR projects and activities
• Perform other miscellaneous support tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

As an ideal candidate, you must have:
• A bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Marketing Communications, Business Administrations or related field
• Experience in content management
• Minimum 5 years in a PR role in-house or at agency
• Proven track record of successful PR campaigns within a leisure or tourism environment
• Understanding of consumer communication trends and the PR and Social Media channel mix
• English writing and content management skills
• Media management skills
• Ability to multi-task, adapt and react to a fast changing environment
• Agency management skills
• Planning and project management skills
• Resourceful, proactive, innovative thinker
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and media software packages
• Understanding of media and social media monitoring and listening tools
