JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This role will ensure that the company’s accreditation to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards and Local authority applicable HSE regulations are met on all contracts. The job holder shall support the operations team on site to ensure that consistent improvement in the HSEQ culture is visible on the assigned contract/s. The job holder shall provide the necessary support to the operations team in meeting the company targets and compliance to the local or any other requirements.

- NEBOSH IGC Certification and OSHAD Certified grade B or C
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- 4-5 years Facilities Management experience in Residential and Commercial properties
- Good Communication skills and report writing and training skills
- Basic technical knowledge on fire & life safety systems
- Should possess a valid UAE driving license

REQUIREMENTS

- Ensure 100% compliance of inductions for all direct and indirect employees on site, and Conduct HSEQ related training/awareness programs and maintain records.
- Provide support to operations on matters related to health, safety and environment while reviewing method statements/procedures and risk assessments at sites.
- Provide support to operations team on conducting Environmental aspects and risk assessments and suggest appropriate controls and corrective/preventive actions while reviewing.
- Ensure that the periodic/routine HSE inspections/audits are conducted and report the findings to the Facilities Manager/Sr. Facilities Manager & HSEQ Manager.
- Ensure the implementation of HSE management system according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 along with international standards, local regulations and client requirements at respective contract
- Prompt response in case of accident/incident including first aid, rescue, evacuation, investigation and subsequent reporting to the HSEQ Manager & Contract Manager.
- Coordinate with local / legal authorities for authorizations / permits / regulations
- Closely monitor the field activities / system adherence from HSE point of view and provide regular feedback on the compliance status to the HSEQ Manager and Facilities Manager/Sr. Facilities Manager
- Develop & communicate HSE Alerts / Best Practices
