JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share in assigned geography for Systems and Solution business utilizing the maximum potential of the Principal products that are a part of GCG portfolio. The individual leads a team of sales professionals to accomplish set goals and ensure that all planned sales activities are implemented in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Develop annual sales strategy and budgets for the Sales Division and set individual sales targets for the sales team
• Develop sales & market development strategies for the division (products, solutions and services) to capitalize on prospective business opportunities
• Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
• Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople
• Ensure provision of necessary resources to the team to aid successful performance
• Review Weekly Call Planning Activities of Sales Team & Monthly Forecast
• Ensure effective closing of the contracts with best optimized offerings, minimizing Company exposure to the risks through effective negotiations on the contractual conditions and enhanced profitability.
• Regularly track, review and provide feedback to the Sales team on individual / team performance against achievement of sales objectives. Plan and direct sales team training on development gaps identified
• Conduct regular sales meeting. Track prospect status, Sales activity and closings. Review progress against monthly and annual revenue goals
• Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
• Investigate win / loss analysis, market price analysis, competitors analysis and accounts’ potential
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
• Analyse data to identify sales opportunities
• Attend trade meetings and industry convention
• Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding team performance
• Provide Monthly & Quarterly sales achievement update to partner principles
• Provide market update to management to align the company strategies in right direction
• Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
• Develop the division by new products & partner agreements in line with the Company vision and strategy
• Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct
