JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIAI) is national-scale organization of the UAE comprised of world-class researchers and engineers aiming for breakthroughs in fundamental and applied AI research.
We’ve already been joined by some of the best minds, and we’re looking for a passionate English native scientific writer and proof reader to support the review of literature and analysis of assigned research topics.
Responsibilities:
• To take raw content from the team’s scientists and engineers and develops compelling blog posts and technical articles that highlight the Institute innovations.
• To write clear and concise summary findings of assigned reviews and submits for review and feedback.
• To coordinate and produce high quality, scientifically accurate documents ensuring consistency between related documents.
• To provide overall writing/proof reading support for ad hoc projects and programs.
• To develop an strong social media strategy to ensure the content is amplified across multiple social channels to reach its target audiences.
REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience or Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering related field.
• Solid experience writing for multiple audiences, particularly technical audiences.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence technologies and a desire to explain them to audiences at any level, from scientist to novice user.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and explain practical engineering and programming concepts and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and quantitative skills are required.
• Experience with blog, website or forum content management systems
• Computer literate
