REQUIREMENTS

JOB SNAPSHOT
• Job Type: Electrical Design Engineer, Substations, Cable and OHL (LV,MV and HV).
• Qualification: Bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering (preferred in power systems).
• Employee Type: Full-Time
• Location: UAE
• Experience: Minimum five years in relevant field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform power system studies, like load flow, short circuit, relay settings,..etc.
• Design of earthing and lightening protection systems.
• Review technical offers, and verify compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• DC systems sizing calculations.
• Review of technical and materials submittals of projects, and insure compliance with project scope, specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate with the project manager for the schedule of design and engineering activities and establish target completion dates for electrical, mechanical & civil designs to ensure target dates are achieved within the project schedule.
• Attending, hosting and coordinating meetings with third party designers (subcontractors), vendors, consultant and client to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in reviewing of tenders.
• Participate in the development and/or improvement of company procedures that are associated with the design and engineering works.
