JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
My client, a truly international multidisciplinary consultancy with a long standing reputation of delivering large scale complex projects in the region, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Urban Designer to join their expanding team in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence and promoting design innovation across multiple Urban Design projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion and for ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest of international standards. This is a client facing role with responsibility for managing multiple design interfaces, liaising with local authorities and coordinating with other disciplines and consultants.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role you must have a BA in Urban Design or equivalent and have 8+ years’ experience with a minimum of 3 years in the Gulf. A strong background in design and project coordination of large scale Urban Design projects, as well as strong client presentation skills. Impeccable communication skills in English are essential.
