JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Responsible for day-to-day operations & office support tasks; the point contact for the Sheraa space, enquiries, calendars and administrative processes
• Managing space bookings, workshops and events logistics, cleaning, internet, security, and plan and coordinate office moves and/or minor renovation projects
• Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for Managers
• Maintain office supplies and inventory management
• Respond to Sheraa’s IT requirements (in coordination with HQ - Shurooq)
• Managing Database (Sheraa Mailing list and volunteers list)
• Procurement: assist with special equipment requests and ordering of office supplies & managing inventory
• Assist with registrations for events and invitations
• Assist in resolving any administrative problems

REQUIREMENTS

Required skills / Expertise
• 2 – 4 years in an Admin position
• Clear and structured verbal and written communication in Arabic & English
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills: you know how to take ownership and close the loop to get things done (has a serious ‘make it happen’ attitude)
• Interested in startups, technology, and community building
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office, Google Apps (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Forms)
• Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
• Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
