JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsibilities of this position are to ensure efficiencies in:
• Import/Export handling
• Domestic procurement
• Storage and distributions of Grains and Protein Meal
Incumbent to lead and coordinate:
• Port operations & Logistics, Container & Bulk Vessel handling
• Export/Import Documentation and Procedural knowledge
• Ocean Freight for Bulk and Containers
• Shipping terms and Demurrage/Dispatch Working
• Cost sheet of various processes involved in cargo handling at ports, upcountry warehouses.
• Warehouse requirements & management
• Cargo handling operations & processes
• Food Safety standards
• Inventory and cost management
• Liaison with Cargo Handling Agents, Shipping Lines, Customs & Other Govt bodies
• Customer service and quality management
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 7-8 years of working experience in Grains Handling or Food products environment
• Export Import Cargo Handling Process.
• Supply Chain expert in terms of bulk commodity volume handling and Shipping vessels handling
