JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading luxury goods producer that has been on the market since 1985, and has a global reach with approximately 2,800 stores in around 170 countries, is now hiring a Business Development Support Intern for a period of 1 to 3 months.

JOB PURPOSE: The Business Development Support Intern will be responsible for supporting Key Account Managers in acquiring new leads in various segments by identifying opportunities, marketing product and service information through route calls, as well as following up.

MAIN DUTIES:

DAY TO DAY ACTIONS:
• Research organizations to identify new leads and learn contact points of key decision makers
• Route call/email potential leads to market the products and services
• Answer inquiries and clarify desired information
• Follow up on leads to establish rapport where necessary
• Recognize opportunities, forward, and set up meetings for key account managers
• Systematically document and maintain all lead information
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Marketing
• Ambitious to learn for career development
• Possess superb communication and listening skills
• Ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
• High level of strategic and analytical thinking skills
• Proactive working style with good team spirit and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible and takes ownership in ensuring the success of assigned tasks
• Excellent time management and organization
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight timelines with limited resources
• Strong IT fluency – Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
• Mobility to travel within the country
