JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
On behalf of our client, a multinational European manufacturing company for building products we are recruiting an experienced, Western General Manager.
The role will be based in their Dubai rep office and requires someone with UAE / Middle East experience with a manufacturer or distributor of building products, ideally sealants/adhesives, paints, fixings, tools for example.
Reporting to the Head office in Europe this role has P/L responsibility for the GCC region and we are looking for someone already working as a GM, Country Manager, or Sales Director with P&L responsibility.
The role will be one of General Management and Business Development throughout the region, growing the customer base and managing distributors via the small rep office.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be a European, degree educated and preferably having a Masters / MBA.
You need to have experience in this region.
Aged around 35 - 55
English speaking, but an additional European language will also be of benefit.
