Job Description & Summary
A career in our Assurance Regulatory Risk and Quality Control practice, within Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. Using advanced technology, we're able to focus on establishing the right controls, processes and structures for our clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information and assure that information provided to third parties is accurate, complete, and can be trusted.

Our team helps monitor the overall regulatory environment, including interactions, data requests, communications and training around regulatory requirements. In joining, you'll stay up to date on regulatory changes and provide our clients with the right resources to decrease their risk levels and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities
As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
- Prepare deliverables
- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
- Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

You will work with some of the most highly regarded clients in the region and help them to use data analytics to achieve their goals. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of data analytics engagements across a range of sectors and across the Middle East region. You will have access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network. As a Senior Associate your responsibilities will include:

- The execution and delivery data analytics engagements from requirements gathering and solution design through to delivery.
- Using a range of business intelligence tools and techniques to uncover insight and value.
- Presenting findings and deliverables to senior stakeholders in written reports, presentations and interactive dashboards.
- Identifying opportunities to help our clients using data and analytics.
- Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team in business intelligence tools, techniques and methodologies.
- Being an active member of the team on client-facing project work, being self-starting and motivated to produce the required high standard of deliverables
- Owning and delivering the data analytics work on a portfolio of clients
- Establishing credibility both internally and externally through your knowledge, approach, and professionalism
- Assisting business development activities through working on bids and proposal responses

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as computer science, data analytics or mathematics

Years of Experience

- 3-5 years of relevant experience data analytics, preferably within a professional services environment.
- In-depth understanding of at least one business intelligence tool such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, D3 or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of database and ETL technologies and proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.
- Experience delivering projects with advanced data analytics, e.g. building models in Python, R, SAS programming languages and libraries.
- Experience in building Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models
- The ability to capture business requirements and translate them into a technical solution.
- Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise work load whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual Arabic speaker preferable.
- The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and worldwide where the project dictates.
