Job Description & Summary

A career in our Assurance Transformation Centre of Excellence practice, within Assurance Transformation Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for developing functions in PwC that support audit engagement teams and audit quality efforts. You'll focus on enhancing our services related to data auditing, business analytics, visualization and leveraging of analytic technologies to evaluating complex Enterprise Systems for audit and non-audit services.

As part of our team, you'll work with a broad and diverse range of clients, providing you with exposure to businesses of varying sizes, industries and complexity. You'll use cutting edge technology working virtually on various audit engagements. You'll develop specialist Assurance knowledge and play a key role in improving the quality and efficiency of our audits and lead innovation in a range of areas, with an initial focus on pension assets and liabilities, share based payments, and the audit of Tax.

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
• Prepare deliverables
• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Skills
• Higher Education: Engineering and/or Economics with a technical minor - or equivalent work experience.
• Experience from object-oriented software programming and previous experience of Microsoft technologies (such as VB, .NET, SQL Server) is meritorious.
• Knowledge of AI, ML or other cognitive capabilities is a big advantage
• Experience in BluePrism or other RPA software is highly appreciated.
• Earlier work in economics and / or administrative systems is meritorious.
