Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of documentation tasks using ACC and Aconex.
- Foster teamwork and open communication among document controllers, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Support team members in developing document management skills to meet project and industry standards.
- Ensure all documents adhere to BIM ISO standards, CDE requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
- Implement rigorous quality control processes to verify the accuracy and integrity of project documents.
- Serve as the primary contact for document management, liaising with project managers and stakeholders.
- Facilitate coordination meetings, addressing action items related to document management promptly.
- Prepare and maintain document control logs, progress updates, and process documentation for stakeholder review.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve document management processes and integrate best practices.
- Stay informed on advancements in document management technologies and methodologies.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of ACC and Aconex systems for secure and efficient use.
- Ensure documents are properly categorized, stored, and approved following BIM ISO standards and CDE protocols.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with document management standards and project guidelines.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on document control processes and tools.
- Maintain secure storage and regular backups of project documents to prevent loss or unauthorized access.
- Ensure timely and controlled retrieval and distribution of project documents, maintaining comprehensive logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field: A degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. Advanced Degree (optional): A Master's degree in Information Management, Records Management, or a related discipline is preferred, particularly for candidates applying for roles in large-scale and complex projects.
- Large-Scale Project Experience: Significant experience managing document control processes on large, complex construction or infrastructure projects using ACC and Aconex.
- Document Control Implementation: Proven track record in implementing and overseeing document control processes, ensuring compliance with BIM ISO standards, CDE requirements, and industry guidelines.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficient in document control software and platforms, particularly ACC and Aconex, with a strong understanding of BIM ISO standards.
