JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key Accountabilities
- Provide on-site and remote support to users for problems related to the network, the operator, the software, operating systems and system hardware diagnosis.
- Conduct research, realize Proof of Concept on new technologies and submit a final technical report to the hierarchy regarding small to medium projects.
- Install and configure specified software packages such as operating systems, business applications and other office tools, and handle relevant maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor the systems’ functioning and network stability and take necessary measures to prevent system failure
- Train users on equipment's, software, telephone systems and manuals and ensure that IT policies and procedures are applied and respected
- Coordinate with suppliers in order to organize accesses in compliance with security standards
Specific for Multimedia:
- Perform periodic back-up of business data as per company policy
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Technical Degree in the same field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge in configuring switches, routers, ISDN modems, Windows Applications (Exchange Server Active Directory, Printers and other)
- Strong knowledge in back and recovery procedures
