JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Support in defining the tactical direction of product lines within each category in line with market trends and brand guidelines as well as assessing and managing the product mix to achieve Category Financial objectives

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the implementation of the category role and strategy in terms of assortment depth, optimal pricing, manage promotional tactics and follow up on availability.
- Support the category manager on the creation and management of a set a business reports with the ability to analyze the category performance and make the necessary suggestions.
- Stock management -Allocate stocks to markets, stores according to sales potential.
- Take ownership of tactical projects with cross functional alignment.
- Assist in the implementation of the category plan including promotional planning, new products introductions forecasting, pricing, set forecasts of any promotion or new initiative.

REQUIREMENTS

- Prepare a clear communication newsletter to stores informing them of new developments on assortment, pricing, product standards.
- Responsible for display guidelines implementation.
- Conduct market reviews and develop selling strategies for assigned products.
- Selection: Helping grow the selection of products & develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
