Assistant Executive Housekeeper Job Description <br>Assists and supports the Executive Housekeeper in his/her tasks. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supervises and coordinates activities of room attendant, house attendant, public area cleaners and floor supervisors. He / She assists in the managing and directing of the day-to-day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions.<br><br>Participates in and enforces quality assurance for Housekeeping Department and department cost control measures.<br><br>What you will be doing: <br><br>The responsibilities and tasks of this position include, but are not limited to:<br><br><br> - Helps EHK in the implementation of major changes in all hotel areas, to achieve organizational objectives.<br> - Maintains excellent relations and professionalism among all subordinate staff.<br> - Coordinates repair and maintenance schedules of rooms.<br> - Ensures cleanliness and hygiene standards in all hotel areas.<br> - Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies on all departmental employees.<br> - Checks and controls the availability and proper usage of supplies & material.<br> - Manages the areas of Housekeeping (rooms, offices, public areas, corridors and stairwells, banquet function areas and food & beverage outles) and Laundry departments, in order to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operation.<br> - Monitors departmental control systems to ensure that costs are controlled and the product quality standards are maintained.<br> - Manages the human resources within the department along with the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring that the work climate is in compliance with the company policies and procedures and maintaining and developing the skills and knowledge of the related staff.<br> Qualifications <br> Your experience and skills include: <br><br><br> - Bachelor's degree/certificate in a related major and a solid experience in hospitality with minimum of 3 years in a HK supervisory level<br> - Excellent command of English communication<br> - Great personality and positive attitude in addition to the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
