JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

An exciting and opportunity for a Car Park Manager to work for a leading Property Management company in Kuwait. With the award of one of the most recognised contracts in Kuwait, a Car Park Manager / Parking Manager is required to manage and operate a large car park within the facility. The successful Parking Manager will have experience with large scale Parks in locations such as Malls, Large Hotels or High Rise Buildings. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly reputable company on one of their newly awarded contracts offering great stability and progression opportunities.

Reporting to the Operations Manager the responsibilities of the Parking Manager will be to:
• Ensure effective enforcement of parking controls as well as presenting a professional image of the parking service team.
• Ensure integrity of systems and personnel in controlling & collecting revenues
• Monitor and continuously improve the ‘Customer Experience’ while protecting the revenue stream
• Provide input, expertise and recommendation to Management to ensure operations costs are within stipulated budget.
• Monitor, review and validate payments of car park management system.
• Keep abreast with the functionality of car park facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Manages the Department staff force and monthly work roster.
• Provide required information and reports as and when required
• Support the mall operations and security team to deliver integrated ‘customer experience’, mall safety and revenue control
• Monitor the safety of pedestrian crossings; maintain easy accessibility of the car parking; with the objective of maintaining accessibility to the various entrance points and minimizing possibility of accidents, or traffic chaos as a result of traffic jams and bottle necks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience of which minimum 3 years in a managerial role in similar capacity in malls, hotels or high rise buildings.
• Candidate must be competent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to build and lead a team
