Quality Control Manager

DLA Troop Support Subsistence Directorate provides full line food distribution service in the IJKS countries. DLA are proud to support the warfighter and federal partners with quality, nutritious foods to meet a variety of demands.

Duties
- Provide oversight, supervision, leadership training, , food handling cleanliness of the facility, and direction to all company and subcontractor Food distribution employees
- Ensure effective use of resources to achieve highest standards of service to client specifications
- Provide direction to warehouse and receiving personnel for cargo prior to acceptance delivered from TRANSCOM careers
- Resolution of FFV rejections from customers, develop corrective action plan and implementation to ensure quality of FFV is in line with customer expectation.
- Management of Hot Containers and support claim resolution process between Amentum and TRANSCOM careers
- Follow US Military food veterenerian standards and ensure Amentum's food defense plan is in place and fully functional
- Work with Amentum suppliers from CONUS, Consolidation center, and PMO to implement and execute recall procedures
- Responsible for management of Food Quality Management system
- Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals
- Identify problem areas and develop resolution strategy together with PMO
