JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Experience: Minimum 5 years as an HR Manager with a current position in a large multinational company, large retailer, or large hospitality company.

Overview:
As the HR Manager for one of the largest grocery retailers in Kuwait, you will lead the entire HR function with a primary focus on Learning and Development, Training, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Organizational Development. This role reports directly to the VP and COO jointly.

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:
• To align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition and Management:
• Oversee the recruitment team in attracting top-tier talent for various roles.
• Implement effective onboarding programs and talent management strategies.

Learning and Development:
• Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs.
• Identify training needs and facilitate employee development initiatives.

Performance Management:
• Lead the performance management process, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.

Organizational Development:
• Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Implement change management strategies as needed.

Employee Relations:
• Manage employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Address employee grievances and conduct investigations when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to review and adjust salary structures.

Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a team of 5 direct reports, including an Assistant Manager, Recruiter, and 3 HR Executives.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Manager.
• Current position in a large multinational company.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience, managing a team of HR professionals.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR practices with business objectives.
