JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Investment Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and conducting due diligence on diverse investment opportunities while providing in-depth financial analysis and portfolio management support. The role involves regular portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and collaboration with external investment managers to optimize returns and manage risks.

Client Details

The client is a single-family office that manages a well-diversified portfolio of investments across public and private markets. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Analyst to join their team and play a critical role in their investment processes and portfolio management.

Description

* Lead Investment Research & Screening: Identify, evaluate, and screen new investment opportunities across various asset classes, conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis to assess risks and returns.
* Market Research & Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of investment opportunities through proactive research and networking within relevant markets.
* Investment Manager Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with external investment managers, conducting comprehensive due diligence on their strategies, performance, and operational efficiency.
* Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis: Conduct regular reviews of the investment portfolio, including rebalancing and performance analysis, to ensure optimal returns and risk management.
* Investment Reporting: Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for decision-making by the investment committee and board, and assist in periodic performance reporting.
* Support Strategic Investment Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the family office's strategic investment plan, helping to align individual investments with broader financial goals.

Requirements:
* CFA Charter Holder or MBA from a top-tier institution
* Minimum of 3+ years of relevant multi-asset class investment experience. Generalist experience across various asset classes and sectors is required
* Proficiency in investment management software and tools
* Highly adaptable with excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities
* High degree of integrity and professionalism
